INTRODUCTION
The Statistical Process Control is is a method for monitoring, controlling and improving a process through statistical analysis. The gauss chart, built using a set of values acquired over times for each dimension (sampling), represent the probability distribution of success results, compared to the project specifications (target value, lower limit, upper limit). Each value contained in the set is called survey. The central SPC is a web platform were all the sets of values of each critical measure (for each production plant) are collected, analyzed and shown in visual web user interfaces.
In the central SPC you will find mapped:
- Product lines: each product line contains several factories
- Factories: each factory contains several critical parameters
- Parameters: each parameter contains one or more measure
- Measures: for each measure the system calculates the capabilities according with statistical process control approach.
All those dimensions are navigable trought the web user interface of the application.
